Making the jaunt down from his recent home of New York City will be one of our favorite DJs and one of our favorite people, DJ Three (Hallucination Limited, Snatch Tampa). It's a rare sight to see Three manning the decks in Orlando ... it's been a while ... and we know he's got lots of surprises and goodies in store for his first Club Queso appearance.

he latest EIGHT-TRACKS single is by the San Francisco duo of Andrew Phelan & Origami who have previously had 12" releases .. Music and their own Prismatic Tracks label. These two are also known for their outstanding Tonal series of warehouse parties in the bay area as well as remixes and production under a plethora of guises. We're pleased to welcome them to the EIGHT-TRACKS fold.
The track "Beyond The Line" was given to us a while back and we've been itching to put it out. Twists and turns in the EIGHT-TRACKS world put numerous delays on this release but finally the time is right to deliver it to your ears. Andrew Phelan & Origami's original cut is an emotive deep house number featuring wistful vocals and a super-tough bassline. The rhythms are quite intriguing, bridging house and broken beat styles for a track that works in multiple settings.
From Argentina comes Christian Malloni, known for his work with Candy Dealers and tracks on a variety of top labels such as Agave and Jay West's Flavour Recordings. He surprised us with a duo of deep and driving mixes that really flesh out "Beyond The Line" in two totally different directions.
Orlando's own Latenight Society finish things off with a crafty dub, using elements from the original sparingly yet effectively. Latenight Society have been rocking it out lately with gigs all over the place and tracks appearing on Tango, Nordic Trax, and their own Tight Recordings label. Their "Beyond The Line" mix shows the continuing evolution of their deep and chunky sound.
Andrew Phelan & Origami's "Beyond The Line" has very early support from the DJ booths of Laurent Garnier, Funk D'Void, Chuck Love ... and now you! We hope you enjoy these new beat flavors direct from the speakers of EIGHT-TRACKS.
